​Jack's immigration practice supports a broad range of clients, including multinational corporate clients as they endeavor to strictly comply with a complex immigration regulatory environment, made more challenging by the outsized impact presidential politics can have on federal agencies involved in immigration compliance and enforcement. Jack also represents individual clients across the immigration legal spectrum, including in connection with family- and humanitarian-based immigration petitions, like marriage based or asylum cases. Having notched over a decade of experience at some of the U.S.’s largest immigration practices, Jack has developed particular expertise in analyzing and solving for immigration issues as they arise throughout the immigration case lifecycle, including after filing for those looking to supplement or replace their existing immigration support.

​​​Representative Experience

​

· Supported labor certification and compliance, as well as H-1B visa program oversight, for largest division of multinational investment banking leader. Successfully responded to wave of requests for evidence (RFEs) issued by U.S. Immigration & Citizenship Services (USCIS) during the first Trump administration.

​

· Managed U.S. immigration program and compliance for household technology brand, including ensuring population of over 400 foreign nationals remained in strict immigration compliance and had a clear understanding of their individual immigration strategies.

​

· Advised dozens of start-ups on leveraging U.S. investments to qualify for E-2 and L-1A new office visas on behalf of their principal investors, managers, and specialized professionals.

​

· Drafted legal memoranda that advised federal government elected officials on specific visa cancelation policies and existing agency regulations. Actively working to counter agency overreach, including defending clients against unwarranted or erroneous terminations of otherwise valid student or worker status.

​

· Jack is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He currently serves as Co-Chair for the New York Chapter’s Consular Practice Committee, and as Secretary for its Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Liaison Committee. He's also speaking at the 2025 AILA Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado on a panel that will focus on maintaining attorney adherence to ethics obligations in the face of continuous uncertainty in federal immigration policy.

Background and Licensure

​

· Jack received his Bachelor’s Degree in Politics from New York University in 2011 and Juris Doctor from Boston University in 2014.

​

· Jack is licensed to practice U.S. federal immigration law pursuant to his active membership in good standing of the bars of the highest courts of the states of New York and New Jersey.

​

· After starting his legal career with renowned solo practitioners in New York, Jack received most of his training hands-on as a leading member of national immigration practices at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP (2016-24) and Greenberg Traurig, LLP (2024-25).

​

· A lifelong Brooklynite, Jack developed conversational competence in Arabic and Hebrew through his parents, Jewish emigrees from Syria and Lebanon. Jack loves his family, doing yoga, cooking, writing about himself in the third person, and reality TV.
